This year Cinco de Sabor presented by 'CallChristinaNOW.com' debuts 5 chefs that share a passion for Mexican culture, cause & cuisine.
Each year, the event spotlights five chefs who share a passion for honoring Mexican heritage through food. For 2025, acclaimed Michelin-starred Chef Mario Hernandez Alonso of El Califa de León in Mexico City will headline the experience. Joining him are top Phoenix Sabores—local Valley chefs celebrating the richness of Mexican culinary tradition. Together, they’ll serve up unforgettable flavors in support of a meaningful cause.
What's included in your Ticket?
Five Chef Stations will set the stage for each of our decorated chefs to serve guests complimentary and generous portions of some of their famous Mexican dishes accompanied by delicious sides. Chef Mario Hernandez Alonso of Califa de Leon will offer all 4 of his Michelin Star Tacos with his Filet Mignon Gaonera Taco taking the spotlight. Pair your plates with a Taste of some of the best Tequilas, Mezcal, and Valle de Guadalupe Wines. Lastly, a dessert bar from a local Valley Mexican Bakery will satisfy your sweet tooth to close out the night. This is a 21+ over event.

The World-Re-known Taco Stand from Mexico City will be serving up its Michelin-Star Tacos on Friday at the 1st Annual Cinco de Sabor on High Street in Phoenix.
Mario Hernández Alonso, current owner and son of the original founders, said "The secret is the simplicity of our taco. It has only a fresh hand-made corn tortilla, red or green sauce, and that's it.
